I studied at the School of Medicine of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and obtained my Medical Degree in 1985 with excellent grades.
I obtained my Radiology specialization at Hippokrateio General Hospital Thessaloniki under the direction of Dr. Stavros Efremidis, specializing in all diagnostic methods of modern radiology.

I was appointed as Radiologist Specialist at "Georgios Papanikolaou" General Hospital Thessaloniki. from which I retired in June 2024 with the rank of Director Radiologist, after 31 years of service and clinical experience.
I work as a private Radiologist Specialist at Asklepios Diagnostic Center Sykeon Thessaloniki, offering advanced radiological examinations with modern equipment.
I specialized in all diagnostic methods of modern radiology which I use for the accurate diagnosis of pathology in all anatomical systems of the human body.

Specialization in Radiology of the Digestive System and particularly of the Small Intestine for the diagnosis of Idiopathic Inflammatory Bowel Diseases (IBD) with international recognition.

Throughout my career I have been an invited speaker at Panhellenic and International Radiological and Medical Conferences of other specialties, sharing my expertise in digestive system and swallowing disorders topics.
I served as a member of the Board of Directors of the European Society for Swallowing Disorders (ESSD) - one of the most important international organizations in the field.
I organized the Pan-European Swallowing Disorders Conference in 2008 in Thessaloniki, bringing international experts to Greece.
I serve as Head Coordinator of the Thoracic Section of the Hellenic Radiological Society, coordinating the development of the field in Greece.
Medical Philosophy & Approach
My philosophy for the practice of Medicine has at its center the person who seeks my services and care. The care which is not based only on knowledge and proper medical practice, but also on the right of the patient to be informed and to receive personalized care and psychological relief at the time of anxiety for their health. I tried to convey this philosophy to the young radiologists who collaborated with me during my stay at Georgios Papanikolaou Hospital.
I consider modern Radiology a multifaceted and central specialty, which contains the knowledge of all medical specialties, as it is called upon to diagnose the totality of human pathology with accuracy and trust.
